Canvas: "Converge-Create-Compete"
The second edition of the hugely successful painting completion spread an aroma of colours and artistry at Babaji Vidhyashram on Saturday 1/10/2016.It was indeed a widely expected event in Chennai evident from 16 plus schools' registration and 1800 plus participant registrations.
The day dawned with busy
organisers setting the tone of the day with meticulous planning and
orderly execution.The cheerful smiles on the faces of the bustling
teachers ,the immaculately dressed student
council and school staff reflected the pride in their hearts for their
prestigious school.
Hats off to the School
Organisers for an impeccable job done!The thematic competition under the ISA
project title " Universality of art" brought out the best of artistic expression and creativity
among all participants of all age groups from 2 to 14.
A myriad pieces of Gond,
Maori , Aboriginal and free style art forms flooded the premises.
Participants walked away with a smile on their faces with a beautiful return gift and a participation certificate with the satisfaction of having competed with the city's best talent. The prize winners were awarded beautiful easel shaped certificates and other prizes. The grand prize was a DSLR camera, the prizes for different age categories were as grand as a bicycle, a Kindle, a keyboard, Sports kits and art supplies etc. There were several consolation prizes too.
